Weekly Report 32 5/6/19 - 5/12/19
Somehow, energy is leaving. The general humor of the week has been of non-urgent rest, which is odd given that the Final Presentation is coming up so quickly. But it is as if with the completion of the Final Product, motivation plummeted so rapidly that I ended up turning it in a couple of hours after the deadline. It was forgetful, yes, but since it ultimately means very little in the grand scheme of my ISM accomplishments, there is not too much stress associated with the slip-up.
But sincerely, the completion of the Final Product appears to have siphoned a lot of forward drive away. It makes sense, though; since I invested so much motion into the Final Product itself for a few months straight, a true break may be in order. This can be bad, however, if it causes me to drop off on certain assignments, including the Final Product itself or the ones due today, but since it is my final year in high school and many peers have already given up, it would not be such a bad thing to give up just a little bit. Refreshing, it could be.
In any case, though, because of the Final Presentation coming on Friday, it is a bit too early to drop off. This coming week, I plan to kick myself back into action for just another few days, with rapid Final Presentation Night preparations still needing to happen. After the whole thing boils over, the rest can be resumed.
