About Brandon Barber

Brandon Barber is a game programmer at Robot Entertainment, a game studio based in his hometown, Plano. From a young age, he knew he wanted to make games as a career. He attended college at the University of Southern California, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. There, he entered the game development program offered at the campus and worked on several academic projects with other aspiring students, including Gear Frontier, his senior capstone project.

While in college, he obtained several significant internship experiences with companies in the technology industry. His first internship was with BakedSoft, a mobile startup company, where he produced a simple photo editing app called Fun Photos - Gurdy & Friends in Unity. However, his first professional experience in games was with a game studio based in Los Angeles. In his sophomore year, he obtained another valuable internship at Heavy Iron, where he worked on a currently unreleased mobile title, and right before his junior year, he landed yet another internship at Robot Entertainment back in Plano.

Upon completing his college education, he returned to Plano to take up his current programming job at Robot Entertainment, which he has been holding since June of 2016. Currently, he has worked with Robot on Orcs Must Die! Unchained on the Dashboard team and aims to continue his work on their current projects.
